The Team

We are currently seeking a Team Leader for our Malware and Cyber Threats team in the Pittsburgh office location. In this role, you will provide guidance, instruction, and manage the efforts of the supporting staff ensuring consistency with company strategy and goals. The Team Leader's role is to share knowledge and skills with members and assist the Program Manager with the functions of the team. The Team Lead will identify, engage, and build relationships with partners in support of the initiative. The Team Lead has a thorough understanding of network functionality and the Linux operating system as well as a high-level understanding of complex technical issues.

  • Lead the planning and implementation of initiative and related projects
  • Identify key tasks and execute new project areas for development in relation to initiatives
  • Coordinate with other departments or members in the organization to achieve specified goals
  • Delegate tasks when appropriate and be responsible for the overall quality, timeliness, relevance, and accuracy of products for dissemination
  • Identify and execute key tasks from strategic priorities delivering results with deadlines
  • Organize and document initiative meetings, partner calls, and standard operating procedures to ensure program consistency
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sector reports and collaborative cases
  • Lead collaborative cases with multi-sector involvement from staff and partners
  • Communicate status of cases and tasks to Program Manager and partners
  • Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with partners
  • Assist Program Manager and Executive Management with resource management, meeting planning, strategic planning, and evaluating the efficiency of business processes and procedures
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to a wide range of audiences
  • Oversee direction, training, mentoring, and management of staff
  • Provide input in team performance, conduct progress reviews, and determine key milestones

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher or full-time equivalent professional or military experience
  • Internal NCFTA experience at an Analyst II or above OR five+ (5) or more years of work experience in Cyber Security, Information Systems or a related field.
  • Strong, principle-centered leadership, which is inclusive of stakeholder needs
  • Able to effectively supervise staff
  • Able to communicate and support strategic implementation of organizational mission, core values, and goals
  • Exhibit a solid work ethic and the utmost professionalism when respectfully interacting with peers, staff, and partners
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
