Brand & Consumer Protection
NCFTA’s BCP Program fosters the sharing of actionable intelligence among a community committed to disrupting the global distribution and sale of counterfeit goods; illicit drugs, pharmaceuticals, and tobacco; and fraud impacting the retail sector.
Counterfeit merchandise and fraud undermine economic stability and are a threat to public safety and national security. The NCFTA partners with industry and the National Intellectual Property Rights Coordination Center (IPR Center) to share information to identify, validate, mitigate, and disrupt individuals and networks engaged in fraud.
